ORDER ACCEPTANCE AND PRICING
Please note that there are cases when an order cannot be processed for various reasons. The Site reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order for any reason at any given time. You may be asked to provide additional verifications or information, including but not limited to phone number and address, before we accept the order.
In order to avoid any fraud with credit or debit cards, we reserve the right to obtain validation of your payment details before providing you with the product and to verify the personal information you shared with us. This verification can take the shape of an identity, place of residence or banking information check. The absence of an answer following such a demand will automatically cause the cancellation of the order within 2 days. We reserve the right to proceed to direct cancellation of an order for which we suspect a risk of fraudulent use of credit or debit card.
We are determined to provide the most accurate pricing information on the Site to our users; however, errors may still occur, such as cases when the price of an item is not displayed correctly on the website. As such, we reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order. In the event that an item is mispriced, we may, at our own discretion, either contact you for instructions or cancel your order and notify you of such cancellation. We shall have the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged.
You can use vouchers to pay on our website. Marketing vouchers entitle you to a saving on your placed order. Vouchers can also be issued in exchange for advance payments made via Bank Transfer. Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash. We reserve the right to cancel or withdraw vouchers at any time except ones issues in accordance with our refund policy and/or in exchange for advance payments. Vouchers cannot be combined with any offer or promotional codes. Vouchers are good for a single use per person. Only one voucher per transaction. Vouchers cannot be transferred. Any dispute will be resolved at the discretion of management.
TRADEMARKS AND COPYRIGHTS
All intellectual property rights, whether registered or unregistered, in the Site, information content on the Site and all the website design, including, but not limited to text, graphics, software, photos, video, music, sound, and their selection and arrangement, and all software compilations, underlying source code and software shall remain our property. The entire contents of the Site also are protected by copyright as a collective work under Ghanaian copyright laws and international conventions. All rights are reserved.
Any disputes, controversies, or differences arising out of the implementation, interpretation, performance of these Terms and Conditions, shall be finally settled through arbitration by a single arbitrator to be appointed in accordance with the rules of Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. The arbitrator shall be a person who is legally trained and who has experience in the information technology field and is independent of either party. The venue of the arbitration shall be Ghana. The language used in the arbitration proceedings shall be English. The award of the arbitrator shall be final and binding and may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction and enforced in accordance with the Arbitration Act 1995 Chapter No. 4. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Site reserves the right to pursue the protection of intellectual property rights and confidential information through injunctive or other equitable relief through competent courts.
APPLICABLE LAW AND JURISDICTION
These Terms and Conditions shall be interpreted and governed by the laws in force in Ghana. Each party hereby agrees to submit to the jurisdiction of the Ghanaians courts and to waive any objections based upon venue.
In addition to any other legal or equitable remedies, we may, without prior notice to you, immediately terminate the Terms and Conditions or revoke any or all of your rights granted under the Terms and Conditions. Upon any termination of this Agreement, you shall immediately cease all access to and use of the Site and we shall, in addition to any other legal or equitable remedies, immediately revoke all password(s) and account identification issued to you and deny your access to and use of this Site in whole or in part. Any termination of this agreement shall not affect the respective rights and obligations (including without limitation, payment obligations) of the parties arising before the date of termination. You furthermore agree that the Site shall not be liable to you or to any other person as a result of any such suspension or termination. If you are dissatisfied with the Site or with any terms, conditions, rules, policies, guidelines, or practices of Sokocentre Limited in operating the Site, your sole and exclusive remedy is to discontinue using the Site.

SOKOCENTRE RETURNS AND REFUNDS IN GHANA
I received something I didn’t order, What now?
Please always if possible, on your side, verify the item delivered when given by the delivery agent. And reject if not matching your order. In case you accepted it from the delivery agent, you can still return within 7 days (see information about the return policy).
How can I return my product?
Step 1: Log your return request

Step 2: Pack your product
- Pack your product according to the return conditions.
- Include all tags, accessories or free gifts you received
Step 3: Return your product
- If you requested a pickup, we will contact you to arrange a pickup time.
- If you selected a drop-off: Please drop your package at the chosen place following the given instructions (no shipping charges will apply).
What products can I return?
All products sold on Jumia.com.gh can be returned for free! Only custom made products and international deliveries cannot be returned.
What are the conditions for my return?
Products can be returned only during the 7 days following the delivery, with the below conditions:
If the product is not as you expected or not as advertised. or if you don’t want the product anymore. Then the product must be returned unused, in its original packaging and with all seals & tags intact
If the product is damaged at arrival, defective at arrival or counterfeit; or
If your fashion product is of the wrong size. Then the product must be returned in its original packaging. All accessories, tags and free gifts must also be returned.
Do I have to return all the products in my order?
No, you do not have to return your whole order. You can return a certain product(s).
What should I do if I want to exchange a product and it is either sold out or not available?
You will have to return your product, within the 7 days after the delivery, and place a new order when it becomes available again. Please do not hesitate to contact our Customer Service Call Center at +233550125866 or [email protected], who will offer the closest available substitute for the product to you.
I have requested for my product to be returned. What happens now?
For returns within Accra and Tema, once your return is accepted, we’ll schedule it for it to be picked up from your address.
Requests received before 10am will be picked up on the same day or the next business day.
Requests received after 2pm will be picked up on the following two next business days.
For returns outside these areas, you will have to drop off the item at one of the service centers of our logistics partner. We will send you a tracking number via SMS after the pickup has been arranged. We will immediately initiate your refund when we have received your package and it has passed our Quality Evaluation.
Once your item has been retrieved, expect an overall duration of 10 days to receive your refund, if the return is matching the returns conditions.
How can I track my return?
If you requested a pick-up, we will send you a tracking number by SMS after the pickup has been arranged. Please don’t hesitate to get in touch with our Customer Service Team at +233550125866 or [email protected] if any issues.
How long do I have to initiate my return?
You can initiate your return within 7 days of delivery. For example: If you received your order on the 5th, then have until the 12th to request a return.
Do I have to return the free gift when I return a product?
Yes, any free gift must also be returned.
What happens when my returned product is received back at Sokocentre’s Warehouse?
Once your product is received, we carry out the checks necessary to ensure that the returned item fulfills the required conditions. Once your item has been retrieved, expect an overall duration of 10 days to receive your refund if the return is matching the returns conditions.
When can I get a refund?
You can request a refund if:
- You cancelled a prepaid order
- You rejected a prepaid order
- You returned an order within Jumia’s 7-day return policy
How will I get my refund?
Refunds are done using the same method of payment as the one done during the payment.
How long would it take to get my refund?
Once your item has been retrieved, expect an overall duration of 10 days to receive your refund, provided the return is matching the returns conditions.
Do I also get refunded the shipping charge when returning a product?
Yes, the refunded amount would also include the shipping amount you were charged.
What if my returned item is not cleared for a refund?
If your return is not cleared for a refund, then we will call you to explain the issue and send the item(s) back to you. We will arrange the delivery of the item.
Please note that we will make 3 attempts to return the product to you. However, after this, we will cancel the return procedure and will keep the product with us for a maximum of 60 days.
Can I return my items after the timeline to return has expired?

If you experience issues after Sokocentre’s return/exchange period has elapsed, you can claim your warranty (if any) from the authorized service centre of the brand.
I haven’t received my card refund reversal yet. What do I do?
